Immar Hospital 

The hospital is a general  Care Hospital with the following departments:

1.     90 In-Patient Beds made of single and double occupancy rooms, with few Suites consisting of 2 separate rooms, and 2 bathrooms.

2.      Operating Theatre suite to include 3 main theatres, and a recovery room, with 4 beds, with the support facilities.

3.      ICU / CCU department, to include 6 beds, with their support facilities.

4.      Obstetrics department to include 4 L/D/R (Labor, Delivery, and Recovery) rooms,

and 1 operating theater, 15 Newborn cots, and a 4 incubator NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), with their support facilities.

5.      Accident and Emergency unit with 8 beds, a plaster room, a minor operating theatre, a plain radiography room, with their support facilities.

6.      Outpatient Department to include 6 general clinics, 2 Obstetrics & Gynecology clinic, an ENT  (Ear Nose & Throat) clinic, and an Ophthalmology (Eye) clinic, with their support facilities. One of the general clinics should be a Cardiology clinic, with a stress testing , and echo rooms.

7.      Endoscopy Suite, including 2 Endoscopy Rooms, and a 4 bed recovery room, with the support facilities.

8.      Laboratory Department covering Hematology, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, and Pathology disciplines, with all the support facilities.

9.      Radiology department to include the following:

A.      MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

B.      CT (Computerized Tomography) Scan

C.      Fluoroscopy

D.     Plain Radiography

E.      Ultrasound

F.       Mammography

G.     Bone Densitometry

H.     Ortho pantography

10.  CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department), with 2 Steam Sterilizers, and an ETO (Ethylene Oxide) Sterilizer, with all the support facilities.

11.  Kitchen, with a staff, and visitors cafeteria, with the latter on a different floor.

12.  Laundry.

13.  Mortuary.

14.  Pharmacy.

15.  Administration Department.

The   hospital is designed according to the British / European / American specifications, and should have Central Gas System, Nurse Call System, and specialized Air Handling System for the operating Theaters.
